Axel de Jenlis completes the Evergreen Endurance triathlon

Club alumnus Axel completed what is likely to be one of the toughest Ironman distance races out there in a time of 23 hours 43. His race involved a 4 km lake swim, a spectacular and dizzying 183km bike race through the alpine roads of Haute-Savoie and Savoie, and a 42.1km trail run through verdant winding trails with mountain vistas of epic proportion both sides of the Chamonix Valley via Flégère, Brevent, Montenvers and Plan de l'Aiguille. Overall, that's a positive height gain of over 7400m!
